Your Only Source in the USA to get OCI Passport Photos for "Overseas Citizenship of India"

(If you are looking for passport photos for Indian Passport Renewal, please click here. For POI Card Passport photos, please click here. If you want to know the difference between OCI and PIO, click here- OCI Vs PIO comparison)

OnlinePassportPhoto.com is pleased to announce the OCI Passport Service for applicants of "Overseas Citizenship of India". We know how difficult it is to get nonstandard size photos taken in the USA so we are very pleased to announce the availability to get OCI photos delivered directly to your home.

Please note that different consulates in USA have slightly different instructions for OCI passport photos, and they are subjective too, like face should not be too big or too small-- but we will reprint your photos free if your photos get rejected. (Not sure which Indian Consulate you should be applying to? Click here to find your consulate).

OCI Photo size requirement from the Master source- Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India

Photograph to be affixed on the application should be of square shape of size not less than 51*51mm (with 80% coverage by face). It should have light color background (not white) without border with front view of person’s head and shoulders showing the full face in the middle of the photograph. Photographs that do not conform to these standards will be rejected and may cause a delay in processing the applications.

*IMPORTANT NOTE FOR OCI APPLICANTS: 51x51 is the same as US Passport photo size however photos taken at your local Costco, Walgreens or CVS probably will not work for most consulates as NIC above requires ***NOT WHITE*** background and 80% coverage by face in the photo. Most US Passport photos printed at local stores (Costco, Walgreens, Kinkos, CVS, Walmart etc) typically have 25%-35% face coverage with mostly white background

OCI Photos - Customer Feedback

Hi,
Thank you very much for your thorough and expedited service with visa photos for my family. I just want to let you know that I must have visited about 10 stores including 3 Walgreens and 7 CVS and no one could do the 35mm x 35mm photos for me. I am glad I found your website; your service and follow up have been superb.

I have already recommended your services to two Indians today who are looking for visa photos.

Thanks!

How OCI (Overseas Citizenship of India) Passport Photos work?

Step 1: Verify your photo and upload it

Make sure the photo you send us meets following requirements:

  • Full UPPER HALF BODY view with all facial features clearly visible.
  • Background: If applying to San Francisco Consulate office, please use white or light colored background. For all other consulates, use uniform colored (non-white) background (If such uniform background is not available, please use wall or bedsheet as background).
  • Face should neither be too bright nor too dark
  • If wearing spectacles – reflection of light from the glasses should not be visible.
  • No visible shadow on the face or background.
  • Do not wear white/ light colored shirt as it blends with light background. Light reflection from hair should not be visible.
  • Click here to upload your photo to our server.

    Step 2: Place your order

Click below to make your payment ($6.95 for 6/8 OCI passport photos).
Important Note: For 2x2 inch photos, we will provide 6 copies and for 35x35mm, we will provide 8 copies

Google Checkout: Select correct value from the drop-down first and then click on BUY NOW button below:

    Step 3:

Refer to your application form and let us know what size of photo is required by the Consulate of India office where you are going to submit your application. It should be 35mmx35mm or 2 in X 2 in size. Then click here to let us know what size you are ordering. You can also include in the message address of your local Walgreens store if you want to pick photos there usually within 24 hours at NO extra charge to you.

Additional Detail about OCI Photo Requirements:

If you are in the USA, the Internet, and the Web-site of your consulate itself can confuse you. As an example, on the San Francisco consulate website itself, on one page, they ask applicants to submit 3 photos and on others they ask you to submit 2 copies with their OCI application! (We confirmmed over phone with them that they need only 2 copies.) Regarding 'OCI Photo size' and 'OCI Photo Background', every Consulate of India in the USA has its own guidelines!! San Francisco requires 2 x2 size photos with white or off-white background even though the photo sample on their website is having colored background!!!

Embassy of India, Washington DC also seems to require 2x2 photos. Not sure if they want white or colored background. (If you know this, please let us know for the benefit of other fellow Indians in the USA)

All other Indian Consulates in the USA seem to require three (3) color photographs 35 mm x 35 mm size (3.5 cm X 3.5 cm), taken against a light background (Not white).

Do not send photographs (i) with side views and (ii) digital photographs printed at home will not be accepted. (Let OnlinePassportPhotos.com take your troubles. As we fulfill several OCI photo orders daily, we know more about OCI photos than most others. Let us take care of your OCI photo needs.)
